With a wave like composition that would represent the economic policies brought in by the Maratha empire; the treaties of sea-trade, the division of markets in forts etc. one of the significant aspect of this economy was beginning of their own currency, and that one had to convert their currency for trading.
A significant contribution was building and empowering the ‘Peth’ or merchant market lanes: each specific to specialized goods; like peth for goldsmiths, peth for the hardwares. The areas of the empire which were not accessible and not in proximity to main cities also had markets trading in barter system selling are specific goods. The whole flourished market and the modes of trade shall be done in detail dividing the curves into areas of city markets, fort markets, rural markets and economic treaties.

This area would talk about the warfare techniques and the great victories of the Maratha warriors. This part would also include the subsequent war constructions which have been specialty of the Maratha Empire since Shivaji Maharaja’s time. Inspired from the traditional Indian victory tower, the story of the achievements of wars and the various forts like the mountain fort, sea fort, plateau fort with be subsumed the design to make a homogenous storyline that runs on all its four sides. The top shall have a war trophy, like the canon/sword/shield.

Both the above parts shall be executed boldly which would give a decent idea of the concept in a span of around 60-90 seconds and would want people to look into more. The visuals would be supported by texts on plaque that would write the factual pursuits and details of the concept.
